Life Together

They say that life’s a winding, troubled road,
But I have found  a partner on the trail
To share each joy, and help with every load,
To summit mountains, weather every gale.
This journey we pursue for just a while,
As we traverse a world both strange and wide,
Drawing closer with each passing mile,
And traveling on together side by side.
